ANTHONY "TONY" XUAN DAO was born on January 1, 1967, to Dr. and Mrs. John Vien Dao in Da Nang, Vietnam. He was an academic scholar and a NASA Aerospace engineer. He married the love of his life, his wife, Dianne. His image lives on in his two sons, Matthew and Michael, age 4 and 2. He was a student of the word of God and is loved by every life he touched. He was a son, a father, a brother, a husband, and hundreds called him friend. He celebrated life through his family, work, marathons, cycling, yoga and touching the lives around him with the Word of God. We are grateful that God blessed us with his life even if only for a brief time. He went home to the Father on February 4, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; sons, Mathew and Michael; parents, Dr. and Mrs. John Vien Dao of Fresno, California; older sister, Tram Weller and husband Rocky of Seattle, Washington; younger sister, Tranh Dao and husband Khan Nguyen of Cupertino, California; and youngest brother, Tu Dao of Dallas, Texas. Visitation will on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church 2209 Old Alvin Road Pearland, TX 77581. A Mass of Resurrection will be on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the church with Father Edmund P. Eduarte officiating.
