Arriving in Vietnam 14 February 1967, Edwin was assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, USARV.
He was only 18 years old when he died. Several members of Company A remember Edwin and the day he died a few weeks later while on patrol.
No family members are known at this time. Edwin Jones was awarded the Bronze Star for his sacrifice to his country.
