Mrs. Sarah R. (Elizabeth) Cox, 76, of 902 North 34th, died Saturday morning at her residence.
Graveside services will be 2:30 Monday at Oakwood cemetery, the Rev. Forrest Whitworth officiating.
Mrs. Cox was born in Waco on July 25, 1908. She was a graduate of Waco High, and a member of the state championship basketball team from 1922 to 1926. She also attended Baylor University.
On May 25, 1946, she was married to Ira S. Cox, who died in 1965. Survivors include cousins and nieces.
