Great Grandpa, Hugh Duncan Park suffered a stroke at an early age & he was an invalid the rest of his life. He owned several 'bands' of sheep & many of the smaller 'tracts' of land. When each of his sons got married (with the exception of Joseph), Hugh would build them a brick home in which to live. When Joseph married, he was given an adobe house. He used to 'graze' his sheep on the desert south of Salt Lake city in the wintertime & in the summertime up in the Wasatch mountains in the vicinity of Park City. He died 7 February 1908 in Mill Creek, Utah. By; Annetta Park Dansie
