Paul Barth Dies At Lexington

Paul Barth, 70, died Thursday at his home in Lexington. He was a native of Germany, born there July 1, 1875 and was a resident of Grand Island for 30 years prior to moving to Lexington two years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are his widow, three sons and six daughters. The funeral will be at 3:30 Sunday afternoon in the Geddes Funeral Home, with Rev. C. B Harman officiating. Burial will be in Grand Island cemetery.

Paul Barth Was Called By Death

Paul Barth, a former resident of the St. Libory neighborhood, died at his home in Lexington, Thursday evening, following a heart attack. he was the father of Clyde Barth and a brother-in-law of P. C. Pedersen of Dannebrog.

He had attained the age of 70 years, 7 months and 13 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, four daughters and four sons: LeRoy Barth, of Chicago; Mrs. Clara Buddecke, of Sutton; Clyde Barth, of Dannebrog; Florence, Frances, Gene and Kenneth at home and Mrs. Harold Foster of Erickson.

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Geddes Funeral Home in Grand Island, with Dr. C. B. Harman in charge of the services. a large number of friends and relatives were in attendance. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
