Fila Sanders, age 84, of Hawesville, died Sunday, April 27, 1985, at Medco Center, Fordsville. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Sanders; a son, Terry Wayne Sanders of Hawesville; three daughters, Bonnie Jean Lain of Cannelton, Ind., Wilma Carol Carr of Pascagoula, Ms. and Wanda Faye Goatley of Troy, Ind.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilson Sanders of Hawesville, and Rev. Marcus Sanders of Muldraugh; and two sisters, Ellie Tindle of Owensboro and Zelpha Lampkins of Tell City, Ind.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson and Son Funeral Home, Hawesville. Burial in Memory . Gardens Cemetery, Hawesville. Visitation after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
