James Lovelace Wallace, 79 years old, died at the home of his son Eli Wallace, near Elva. His death followed an illness from complications.
Mr. Wallace is survived by four daughters:
Mrs. Emma Barnes, Mrs Jemima Overby, of Elva; Mrs. Mollie McIntosh of Pryorsburg, Ky, and Mrs. Fannie Story of Paducah; two sons: Eli Wallace of Elva and Dinnie Wallace of Paducah. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.
Burial took place Friday afternoon in Bolton cemetery near Symsonia, the Rev. Mr. Parker of Hickory conducting the rites.
