Marietta graduated from Crossville High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carmi. She also belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a long-time employee at the Mar-Lee dress shop and Beans Jewelry. She retired as a bookkeeper for Harry Phil Pearce.
She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Wetzel of Princeton, IN and Marjorie Kell of Carmi; one sister-in-law, Mary Endicott of Norris City; one nephew and his wife, Larry & Marilyn Kell of San Antonio, TX; three nieces and their husbands, Linda Wetzel & Bob Kiessel of Ft. Branch, IN, Cindy Endicott & Alan Levingston of Howell, MI, and Ann Kell of El Cajon, CA; 7 great nephews & nieces and 2 great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, L.D. "Junior" Endicott and Charles Leo Endicott and one nephew, Jack Kell.
