Mrs. Mary Davidson, 60, wife of Charles Davidson, 311 South 15th Street, a resident of Leavenworth for over thirty years died at 11:50 o'clock Saturday night at the family residence. She had been failing health for several months and confined to her bed the past four weeks in a serious condition.
She was born in Iowa on November 26, 1890 and was the daughter of John and Addie Parrish. She came to Leavenworth when a young lady and was married to Charles Davidson in Leavenworth in 1927.
Surviving her are her husband Charles Davidson, one son John L. Kester, Kansas City, Kansas, one brother James William Parrish, Kansas City, Kans., two sisters, Mrs. Emily D. McCracken and Mrs. Nettie L. Williams both of Kansas City, Mo. Seven grand children survive.
Funeral services will be held at -- o'clock Wednesday at the Sexton Funeral Chapel. Rev. Henry Last, Pastor of the Church of the Open Door will officiate and the burial will be held in Mt. Muncie Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral chapel until the hour of services.
This obit was found in my mother's things. I am only guessing that it was published in the Leavenworth paper.

I never got to meet my gr-grandma Mollie as she was gone before I was born. My mom though, Mollie's granddaughter Marie Kester, adored her. Marie and several of her siblings lived with Mollie off and on in their younger years.
