Mrs. Lorene Price, age 79 of Olmsted, died Monday, May 19 1997 at 6:30 p.m. at her home. Mrs Price was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted, a member of the Ladies Aid Society of St. Luke Lutheran Church and the Illinois Farm Bureau.
She was born March 5, 1918, in Pulaski County.
Survivors are: one daughter Muriel Dean, Mahomet, and two sons, Lyndall Price, Olmsted and Hubert Price Fisher; three grandchildren Cindy Runge, James Dean and Dawna Qualls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josephine Shaffer Mayer, one daughter Roberta and her husband Jerome Price; one sister Elsie Temke,three brothers, Fred, Ernest, and Martin Mayer.
Services were Thursday May 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with Rev. Carl Miller officiating. Burial was at Concord Cemetery in Olmsted.
Visitation was Wednesday May 21 6 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
