Obituary for Dorothy Black :
Industry - Dorothy B. Black, 87, formerly of Industry and Doddsville, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at WIllow Brook Nursing and Rehab Center in Lake Mills, Wis., where she was a resident.
Born Feb. 8, 1914, in Industry Township to Ernest and Bertha ( Vaughn ) Kellum, she married Maurice Black on April 25, 1933, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Jan. 2, 1994.
Surviving are one daughter, Peggy ( and Brad ) Vail of Lake Mills ; one son, Jim ( and Nancy ) of Pontiac ; four grandchildren ; and four great grandchildren.
She had been a cook for Industry School for 13 years.
She was a member of Doddsville Methodist Church for many years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Clugston - Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb, where family will receive friends one hour before. Marshall Litchfield will officiate. Burial will be in Doddsville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church or to Doddsville Cemetery.
