Mrs Young died Friday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.
A Trigg County native, she was barn Jan. 22, 1935. the daughter of Lonnie Wesley Herndon, this city, and the late Mellia Dora Herndon. A son, Bennie Ray Young died in 1966.
Survivors, in addition to her father, include two sons, James Dale Joiner, Germany, and Edward Boyd Young, this city; two daughters, Donna Lynn Galon, Queens, N.Y., and Sharie Ann Joiner, this city; three brothers, J.T., Bennie Lawrence. and Kenneth Boyd Herndon, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Archie (Margaret) Harper, this city, and Mrs Rodney (Barbara) Croft, Crofton; and one grandchild.
