Services for Kenneth L. Metcalf, 73, of Willoughby Hills, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. William Church, 367 E. 260 St., Euclid.
Mr. Metcalf died April 19, 2001, at his residence in Willoughby Hills.
Born Aug. 12, 1927, in South Bend, Ind., he lived in Euclid before moving to Willoughby Hills eight years ago.
He had a passion for boats, sailing and lighthouses. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed cooking. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947. He was an active member of Our Lady of the Wayside. He was on the Breadth of Life Committee. He attended St. William Parish where he was a server and Eucharistic minister.
Mr. Metcalf was a sales manager for the SKF Company.
Survivors are his children, Tom Metcalf, Ann (Patrick) George, Kathleen (Craig) Allen, Stephen (Debbie) Metcalf and Mary Kay (Tom) Olson; grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Allen, Elizabeth and Patrick George, Jamie, Nick, Greg and Taylor Metcalf, and Sarah, Allison and Rebecca Olson; and sister, June Clark.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brickman & Sons Funeral Home, 21900 Euclid Ave., Euclid. Fr. David Baugh of St. William Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
