On October 22, 1906 the new Chandler couple had their first child there, Caroline G. Chandler.
In April 1909 their son William L. Chandler was born.
The Chandler family next appears in the 1910 census of Boone County. Also appearing with them in the household is Nancy Caroline's 59-year-old widowed aunt, Phila, and cousin Zyrt Harper, age 25.
In 1913, the Chandler family had their third child, Mary Martha Chandler, and then their final child, Ruth S. Chandler in 1915.
By the 1930 census, the Chandler family had moved far out to the west, where they appear in Alameda Country, in the East Bay Area of northern Calfiornia. They and some of their children settled there in Berkeley.
Dr. William H. Chandler became a U.C., Berkeley horticultural professor. In 1935 his daughter Martha became a graduate from there.
Nancy Caroline died there several decades later, leaving her husband William Chandler a widower. Nancy was cremated, and her ashes placed here at Sunset View. She was joined here just a couple years later by her husband William.
