Nora Louise Montgomery, 80, passed away on Sept. 14, 2011, in Boerne. She was born on March 18, 1931, and raised by her loving parents, John Douglas Plummer and Hattie Hardcastle.
Nora was born and raised in San Antonio, and moved to Boerne in 1955. She was a giving woman who devoted her life to helping others. She served the residents of Kendall County for 27 years managing the Kendall County Communications office. The reason we have the dispatch system today is because of her hard work in pioneering this for the safety of all in Kendall County.
