He departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2003. He was a retired inventory supervisor for Defense Depot in Memphis, TN, an Army veteran, a Mason and a member of the Carriage Hills Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gussie Evans Cook of Hernando, four daughters, Beth Cook White of Mobile, AL., Robin Cook Burgin of Mansfield, TX., Katie Cook Laughlin of Humboldt, TN and Kim Cook Jones of Hernando. He is also survived by two sisters, Bobbye Zikeli of Lake Oswego, Oregon and Myrna Creel of Ovett and fifteen grandchildren.
Interment was in the Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Twin Oaks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
