Dora Schreiner, 86, died May 13, 2012 at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka.

Dora was born to Joseph and Julia Steaham Woolsoncraft on Nov. 14, 1925 near Circleville, Ks.

Dora married David E. Schreiner Dec. 11, 1944.

Dora graduated from Vermillion High School. She played on the basketball team which was undefeated for two years. She played softball and enjoyed fishing and horseback riding. She also taught Sunday school.

She was a member of Eastern Star, Marshall Co. Historical Society.

She is preced in death by her parents and her husband: David Schreiner. Sisters: Mattie Mannell, Helen Staffbean. Brother: Samuel Woolsoncraft. Son: David Schreiner. Grandson: Shannon.

She is survived by Daughters: Linda K. Gabriel of New Vienna, Ohio. and Frances (Bill) Myers of Frankfort. Son: Tom (Cindy) Schreiner of Portland, Ore. and 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 17, at the Vermillion Community Church, Vermillion. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery south of Frankfort.
