CALDWELL — Services for George Woodrow (Woody) Wilson, 58, San Bernardino, Calif., who died Monday in a Loma Linda, Calif., hospital, will be conducted at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ernest Chamberlain of the First Christian Church will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 11, 1913, in Logan, Kan., a son of Phillip and Bessie White Wilson, and moved with his parents to the Notus area when he was 10. He was graduated from Notus High School. He enlisted in the Army and served during World War II. He married Ruby Lammey Oct. 13, 1940, in Notus, and the couple lived in Caldwell until 1957, when they moved to San Bernardino. He was a mechanic for Burns Chevrolet Co. for 19 years.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Wilson are a son, Clifford Wilson of San Bernardino; a daughter, Mrs. Karolyn Ray of Claremont, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Louise Shaw of Caldwell, and two grandchildren.
