BROOKS , Robert Lemuel On June 26, 2011, ROBERT LEMUEL BROOKS, loving husband of Vivian E. Brooks (nee Martin) and father of Karen G. Doherty, crossed over to be with his mother and father, Daisy A. Brooks (nee Schaeffer) and Sherman L. Brooks, his sisters Bernice Kraft and Hazel Seibert and brothers Roy, Charles, William and Roland Brooks. Survived by sisters, Leslie Gabler, Susan Todd, and brother, Gene Brooks. Beloved uncle of the Knight family, the Blackwell family and the Martin family. Retired from the Baltimore City Police Department, Rob also served in the U. S. Air Force. He celebrated his 78th birthday on June 11, 2011.
Family and friends will honor Rob's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Wednesday, 3-5 & 7-9 PM, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday.
