Eve (Blue) Skinner of Cambridge, wife of the late world-renowned author and psychologist B.F. Skinner, died Saturday at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 86.
Born in Chicago, Mrs. Skinner was a longtime Cambridge resident.
Mrs. Skinner was a lecturer and gallery instructor for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie S. Vargas of Morgantown, W. Va., and Deborah Buzan of London; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
