Funeral services were at 10 a.m Tuesday August 22, at Blair-Owen Funeral Home 102 E. Dunbar Mahomet. The Rev. Lewis Fox officiated. Burial was in Blue Ridge Township Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday August 21 at the funeral home.
Mr. Crowley was born April 21, 1933, in Newcomb Township, a son of Leo William and Violet Eva McNear Crowley. He married Dorothy Louise Goode on Dec. 15, 1951 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Mahomet. She survives.
Survivors also include a son, James William Crowley of Wyoming Illinois, and three daughters, Nancy Crowley Cook of Mahomet, Catherine Jean Reisner of Farmer City and Lori Ann Dick of Monticello; two brothers Gerald "Wayne" Crowley of Thomasboro, and Darrell Crowley of Mahomet; two sisters, Lucille Stauffer of Mansfield and Shirley Price of Fisher; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Crowley served in the Army and was a diesel Mechanic at Humko. He attended Farmer City Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion in Mansfield.
