Clifford D. Crowley, 49 of Mahomet, died at 1:30 a.m. thursday, aug. 6 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m Saturday Aug. 8 at the First Baptist Church, Mahomet, the Rev. Kim Egolf-Fox and the Rev. Brenda Egolf-Fox officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery Mahomet.

Mr. Crowley was born July 14, 1938, at Mahomet, the son of Leo W. and Violet E. McNear Crowley. He married Beverly Corum on April 17, 1970, at Bement. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Mahomet, a son, Clifford Dale Crowley, Jr. at home and a daughter Carolyn Jean Crowley at home; two sisters, Shirley Price of Fisher and Lucille Stauffer of Mansfield; four brothers, Eurgen Crowley of Mansfield, Harold Crowley of Tolono and Wayne Crowley and Darrell Crowley both of Mahomet.
Mr. Crowley was preceded in death by his father, a daughter and a sister.
He was member of the First Baptist Church of Mahome and a member of the township officials of Champaign County. Mr Crowley served in the U.S. Army and also served as road commissioner to Newcomb Township for 19 years.
