Herman R. Bartley of Conville, R.D. 1 (East Connellsville) died at 7 a.m. Sunday in Connellsville State General Hospital.
He was born in Montebello, Va., the son of the late David and Bette Bartley. He had resided in Conellsville since 1957.
The deceased was a conductor for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, retiring in 1967 after 40 years service. He was a member of the United Transportation Union.
Surviving are his wife , Mrs. Gladys Keefer Bartley: three sons, Herman, Jr., Randolph, and Paul, and two daughters, Larna and Lana, all at home, and several brothers and sisters.
