Marion E. Mott, a resident of Beacon for 1 1/2 years and a former 30 year resident of Palm Coast, Florida, entered into rest Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Wingate at St. Francis, Beacon. She was 93.

Daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Jones Sullivan, she was born April 14, 1910 in Yonkers.

She married George J. Mott, Sr. Mr. Mott preceded her in death.

She and her husband were volunteers at Jacksonville Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. While at Wingate at St. Francis, she was a social butterfly, making friends with many.

Marion is survived by her children, George J. Mott, Jr. of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Nancy Flint and her husband, Ron of Washington, D.C., and Richard P. Mott and his wife, Pam of Beacon; two brothers, Edwin Sullivan of Ossining, New York and Harold Sullivan of Phoenix, Arizona; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addtition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Nevius; a sister, Genevieve Gorman; and a brother, Frank Sullivan.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Street, Beacon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Friday, July 11 at Saint Joachim's Church, Leonard Street, Beacon.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Korona, Florida.
