Leslie Susan (Wilsey) Maguire, 53, died July 21, 2007 in Norman, OK. She was born August 1, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of W.L. (Dub) and Sue Conner Wilsey. She graduated in 1971 from NW Classen High School. On July 1, 1972, she married John Thomas Maguire, a Navy man and stayed through his enlistment of 20 years, enjoying living in Great Lakes, IL, Virginia Beach, VA, New Orleans, LA, and San Diego, CA. When John retired from the U.S. Navy in 1987, they returned to Oklahoma, moving to Purcell. Leslie spent over 15 years working for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health including COCMHC, NADTC, and NAC. She loved spending time with family, camping, football, and pets. Leslie lived for her family and was a loving wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son David Joseph Maguire 1977-1980. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, John; two sons, Brian, Broken Arrow, OK and Kevin, Slaughterville, OK; 3 grandchildren, Brianna, Cody and Abbygail; three brothers, Steve, Stan and Stuart Wilsey. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A Memorial Service will be at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at St. John's Episcopal Church of Norman, 235 W. Duffy.
