His illness lasted for a year or more, three months of which he was confined to his bed. He was the father of fourteen children, four of whom are dead, the other ten, with their mother survive him. He is also survived by three brothers, John and Frank, of Carrolltown, and W. J., of near Loretto. Interment took place in St. Monica's cemetery Chest Springs, on Wednesday.∼s/o Joseph
