IDA MAY (PATTON) TETER (b. October 12, 1877 in St. Clair County, Illinois d. March 2, 1961 in St. Clair County, Illinois). She was the second child of JOHN BEST PATTON and FRANCES JULIA (McDONALD) PATTON.

On July 19, 1899 IDA MAY married GEORGE ABRAHAM TETER (b. October 13, 1873 St. Clair County, Illinois d. January 30, 1958 St. Clair County, Illinois) He was the son of RILEY TETER (1851-1921) and ELIZABETH (JACKSON) TETER (1851-1919).

IDA MAY (PATTON) TETER and GEORGE ABRAHAM TETER had three children:
1. JOHN RILEY "TOAD" TETER (b. February 11, 1901 d. April 29, 1974)
2. GEORGE LORAINE "BUSTER" TETER (b. October 1, 1902 d. July 23, 1973)
3. ALBERTA MAY (TETER) WARD (b. October 29, 1908 d. April 12, 1992)
