Aaron T. Barker was born Dec. 4, 1911, in Pauline, Nebr., to Herbert and Ida (Sampson) Barker. His parents died when he was young. He lived with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hultine on a farm at Saronville.
Dec. 24, 1939, he married Marguerite Weber at rural Craig.
Barker served in the United States Army during World War II with the 101st Port Marine Maintenance Company. Following his discharge in 1946, Aaron and his wife moved to Tekamah and purchased the Pump Shop. He retired in 1976.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
Survivors include his wife of Tekamah; sisters, nieces and nephews.
