Lewis Goldberg, 66, of Inverness, died at a Havre hospital after a long illness. Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home in Havre.
Goldberg was born at Westby, Wis. He lived in Minnesota, was married at Westby at the age of 27 and came to Montana in 1912, settling on a farm near Inverness.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Stanley, 9, of Helena, and Oscar of Joplin; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Sticka, of Laredo, and Mrs. R. J. Brown of Cut Bank; four brothers, Theodore and Olaf of Havre and Charles and Adolph of Rudyard; and one sister, Mrs. P. M. Hooverson of Viroqua, Wis.
