William Roy Baxter, 93, of Louisville, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Caritas Medical Center. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, KY, a retired druggist and owner/operator of Baxter's Pharmacy and a member of Veterans Drug Club.
He is survived by his wife, Myrl Sorrels Baxter; son, Roy Glenn Baxter; daughter, Mary Jo Baxter; sister, Margaret Baxter; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday. Memorial gifts may go to National Federation of the Blind.
