CDR Robert R. Goldner USN (Ret) (80) died 9 May 2012 in Medford, NJ. Bob was a Navy pilot who flew in several VP squadrons. He also had assignments on the USS Wisconsin and USS Lake Champlain. He attened Navy PG School and completed his MS degree in Aeronautics at MIT. As a civilian Bob worked as a Systems Analyst at Lockheed and TRW. In retirement he spent many hours as a volunteer math tutor with the Burlington County Library. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A photo of his niche cover is included in the pdf of his record in their burial index. It looks exactly like the others there except for name and dates, and like the others, includes the '53 class crest.

Robert R. Goldner, Cdr Us Navy (Retired), of Medford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012. A resident of Medford for the past 25 years, Robert was a graduate of the US Naval Academy in 1953, and served in the Navy until retiring in 1974. He greatly enjoyed traveling, wood working and playing bridge. He is the Beloved Husband Evelyn K. Goldner of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Susan Reiser of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert R. Goldner Jr. of Walnut Creek, CA and Kevin Goldner of Los Vegas, NV. He is also survived by his sisters Jean DeSantis of Manasquan, NJ and Nancy Zoebelein of Grand View, NJ and also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is the father of the late Michelle Potts. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service and Committal on Wednesday, May 16th at 2 PM at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
