Beloved Brother, Husband, Father, and Grandfather, died at home on Saturday, October 21, 1972. He was the second of four children born to George and Carrie Wilson and always went by his middle name. Parks worked as a farmer his entire life in Christian County. He married Miss Ella Hall, daughter of Samuel and Edna Giles Hall on September 15, 1934. He was a member of West Union Baptist Church in Gracey.

Preceded in Death by his Parents, George W. (d. 1931) and Carrie Lee Cox Wilson (d. 1932), Brother Albert Wilson (d. 1959), and Grand-daughter Cara Lee Wilson (d. 1961)

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Ella Hall Wilson (d. 2003), Brother Stanley Wilson (d. 1988), Sister Ruby Lee Smith (d. 1987), Son Albert Lee Wilson, and Grand-daughters Leslie and Lara. Became a great-grandfather to four after his death.
