Where can I begin? Irma Hopson was born on June 6, 1899, the year before the 20th century. Her parents were Sudie Cox and William Joel Hopson. She had one sister Lena Hopson Nichols and one brother, Nick Hopson. She loved one man, her husband Thomas William Wilson, although he passed in his early 50's.She moved to Hopkinsville, Ky after her husband passed. She lived there for 5 years and then moved to Nashville, Tennesse where her son and grandchildren lived. She never met a stranger and everyone loved "Nannie". She worked in retail sales after her husband passed. She worked for Gordon Cayce, Edgar Cayce(The American Prophet)'s first cousin in Hopkinsville at his Antique Shop and later in Nashville she worked at Harveys Department store. When she was in her 60's she worked as House Mother at Vanderbilt University for the AOPi Sorority. She was always there for my sister and I. She spent approximately 6 months a year with me to help with my family after she retired. She was the best grandmother ever. I honor her as a wife, mother and grandmother. I can definitely say her life mattered and she deserves a place in God's House. I miss her everyday but I know we will meet again. Thank you Nannie!I LOVE YOU!
