OBITUARY
Sheboygan Daily Press, April 7, 1920

Mrs Emma Bauer, 52, wife of George W Bauer, 1646 N Twentieth Street passed away suddenly at 9:30 pm Saturday at the family home of heart failure. Saturday evening, shortly before 9 pm, Mrs Bauer prepared to retire saying that she desired to go to bed early so that she would be able to attend the Easter Services at church on Sunday. She complained of a dizzy sensation but nothing serious was thought to trouble her. She laid herself on the bed and died instantly. Coroner VanZanten pronounced death due to acute heart failure.

Mrs Bauer was born July 10, 1868 in Milwaukee and resided in this city for more than 30 years. The survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs Fred Scholte and Mrs George Nauschuetz this city and a son, Albert Bauer, at home. The funeral will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday from the late residence and at 2:30 pm and the German M.E. Church, the Reverend W.H. Weiss officiating. Internment will be made at Wildwood cemetery.
