BARBARA CARTER MAHON, 74, of Owenton, died Friday Green Valley Nursing Home, Carrollton. She was a former employee of Hi-Y-Inn, Owenton, and of Franklin Country Club. She was a member of Owenton First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Mahon; a son, Bobby Wainscott of Carrollton; daughters, Carol Ruth of Owenton, Helen Schmitz of Waukasau, Wis.; and Wanda Jean Comer of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Robert Carter of Owenton; a sister, Jestean Slaughter of Owenton; 16 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Owenton. Visitation will be there after 4 this afternoon. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery.
