Lempster, NH: Kyle Atherton Newton, 26, died unexpectedly in Newport late Sunday evening, May 6, 2012.
Kyle was born in Claremont, NH, on August 1, 1985, the only child of Michael L. and Donna L. (Fuller) Newton. He grew up and was educated in Lempster and Newport graduating from Newport High School with the Class of 2002. Kyle was a Boy Scout when he was young and grew to love all things Army from guns to tanks to jeeps. He held various jobs but was happiest when he was at the truss shop at LaValley's. Troz as he was sometimes known had a great sense of humor, like a good joke and often quoted lines from movies. He loved a good cookout, especially with his family, and felt it was the best food served. His family was very important to him as he was to them. Kyle will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his mother: Donna Newton of Charlestown, his paternal grandfather: Charles "Bud" Newton of Lempster, 4 aunts: Harriet Webster, Alma(Norman) Routhier, Sylvia(Paul) Smith, Gail Newton, 4 uncles: Robert Fuller, Raymond (Della) Fuller, Verner(Wanita) Fuller, Paul(Kathleen) Newton, and several cousins.
He was pre-deceased by his father: Michael Newton in 2005, his paternal grandmother: Francese Newton in 2000, and his maternal grandparents: Raymond & Evelyn (Smith) Fuller.
Friends may call on the family at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street in Newport from 5-7PM, Friday, May 11, 2012. A Service will be held at 7PM following visitation. Pastor Donna Leslie will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 9AM Saturday morning the 12th at the East Unity Cemetery on Gilman Pond Road in Unity.
