Joseph N. Baldwin, 77, of Battle Ground, died April 22, 1986 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was an artist in the advertising department of Reifers Furniture Co. for 27 years; retiring in 1974. Born and reared in Greenfield, he was a 1928 graduate of Greenfield High School; he attended John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis. He had lived in the Lafayette area the past 50 years. He married Lois V. Watt on November 23, 1945 in Lafayette; she is a retired assistant vice president and trust operations officer for Lafayette Bank & Trust. He was a life member of Elks Lodge 143. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Ginny Huston of Yucaipa, CA. Service April 25, Hippensteel Chapel, Rev. Dr. J. Philip Klinger officiating. Internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
