Thomas Fitch Reynolds, a long time resident of Somervell County, died November 1, 1954 at a local hospital.

He was born March 30, 1884 in Kingston, Madison County, Arkansas, but came to Texas at the age of nine. In 1909 he married he was married to Sopha Amanda Layne. Survivors include his wife; a son, Edgar Reynolds of San Antonio, four daughters, Mrs. Bethel Bunt and Mrs. Ethel Ratliff of Glen Rose, Mrs. Ruth Smith and Mrs. Lanett West of Dallas; Four sisters, Mrs. M. M. Bunt of Rainbow, Mrs. E. B. Barnett of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Grace Williamson of Tyler and Mrs. J. H. Peck of Waco; four brothers, Roy C., Vernon B., A. E. Reynolds of Ft. Worth and Frank Reynolds of Granbury. Two daughters, Pauline and Earline and one son, J. T. preceded him in death.

Rev. D. M. Sanders, pastor of the Rainbow Baptist Church conducted the last rites for Mr. Reynolds in the church of which he was a member and deacon for many years, Thursday, November 4, with interment in Squaw Creek Cemetery. The Glen Rose Funeral Home was in charge.

Pall bearers were Jack Miller, Silas Bright, Willie Spoonmore, Louis Oldham, Bill Mimms, and Ed Mimms.

The choir sand "Asleep In Jesus" and "Precious Memories", Doris Eakin and Alene Stout sang "Farther Along".
