Athena Jackson age 50 of Nelsonville died Thursday May 10, 2012 at her home. She was born May 27, 1961 at Bloomington, Indiana to Marshall Howard and Linda Beth Norris Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Howard Jackson.
Survivors include her mother, Linda Norris of Nelsonville; one brother, Josh Higginbottom of Newport; one sister, Katherine Higginbottom of Newport; two nieces, Kendall Brook Calhoun and Hannah Grace Higginbottom both of Newport and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Monday May 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will begin Sunday May 13, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Chad Ring, Junior Jones, Kenneth Seat, Marty Morgan, Tommy Morgan and Johnny Powell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Athena Jackson to the Bank of Cave City P.O. Box 490 Cave City, AR 72521 in an account set up to help family with funeral services.
