At 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the remains of the late Joseph Geier, who was killed last Friday evening by Louis E. Tuyes, were laid to rest in Greenwood cemetery....(details of the casket and attendees omitted)....
Mrs. Geier was not present, but her children witnessed the interment of their father's remains."
