CHESTER
Mr. Brian Keith Hudson, 41, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, May 14, 2012 at Parkway Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Dorsey and Rev. Brenda Curtis officiating. The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Sunday at Barron Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1327 Moss Creek Drive, Chester.

Born October 27, 1970 in Chester, Keith was a son of Loren E. Hudson, Sr. and Sallie Gladden Hudson of Lake Wateree, SC. He was a graduate of Chester High School where he was a member of the marching band. He attended the University of South Carolina and was a member of the marching band. He was employed with Wilson Chevrolet and Wilson Chrysler Dodge Jeep as parts and service manager. He was a member of Chester County Rescue Squad where he was an EMT-I. Keith was fire chief of the Blackstock Fire Department in Fairfield County and also a firefighter with City of Chester and South Chester Fire Department and current chairman of Fairfield County Fire Chiefs Association and Deputy Coroner with Chester County. Keith had a passion for dirt track racing and coaching Dixie Youth Baseball.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one daughter, Hayley Hudson of Edgemoor; one son, Kayden Hudson of Great Falls, SC and Jordan Ramsey of Great Falls, SC; two brothers, Eugene Hudson and wife Kelly of Chester and Eric Hudson and wife Crystale of Richburg, SC; nieces Taylor and Madison Hudson of Chester and nephew Dylan Hudson of Richburg.
