Suave, polite, well-spoken assassin-for-hire – he also had been a lawman, cowboy and gambler and was very active in his church. Miller had family ties to Mannen Clements Sr. and John Wesley Hardin. Jim’s demise came at the hands of a lynch mob in Oklahoma.
