The funeral was held Friday, September 30 at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare for Mrs. Wm. (Helen) Wheeler, age 89, who died on September 26 at Kenmare.

Father Joseph Adkins officiated and music was provided by the Church Choir with Maureen Munch as organist. Pallbearers were J.J. Ackerman, Lawrence Wirtz, Paul Wirtz, Jerome Munch, Robert Skredsvig, and Ronald Scheltens. Interment was in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery with Thompson-Larson Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

She was born February 27, 1894, at Louisburg, Minnesota a daughter of R.A. and Hannah Ogaard. She came with her parents to an area east of Kenmare in 1900 where they homesteaded. She taught school in the Coteau area and was married to Alfred Skredsvig May 4, 1916, at Kenmare. They lived in the Kenmare and Coteau areas. he died in 1929 and she moved to Donnybrook. She married William Wheeler July 7, 1950, at Kenmare where they made their home.

Survivors: husband; son, Robert Skredsvig, Spokane, Washington; daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Scheltens, Minneapolis, Mrs. Donna Wolfe, Frisco, Colorado; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Chester, Appleton, Wisconsin, and Maurice, Cokato, Minnesota; sisters, Mrs. Louella Jorgensen, Tioga, Hazel Ogaard, Seattle, Mrs. Harley (Dorothy) Dahl, Minot.
