Mandana was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William A. Warner and married Dr. Charles Cook September 1, 1881. He having practiced first in Homer and Burlington then came to Albion in 1890. He died in 1893 and Mrs. Cook entered the University of Indiana medical school, graduating in 1898. She then went to Coldwater to practice until 1906, then to Battle Creek and in 1919 to Detroit where she worked until she returned to Albion in July 1932.
