Carol Ann Campbell was married on 27 July 1950 to Sheldon "Shoney" D. Webster

BROWNHELM TOWNSHIP - Carol Ann Webster (nee: Campbell), 81 years of age, and a resident of Brownhelm Township, was called home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness. She was born September 10, 1930 in Lorain, Ohio.

Carol was raised in Lorain and Amherst and graduated from Central High School of Amherst in the class of 1948. She had made her home in Brownhelm township for the last 39 years.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church and former member of Faith Baptist Church of Amherst and Broadway Baptist Church of Lorain where she and her husband were married.

She was a charter member of the Brownhelm Historical Society and a life member of the Community Health Partners Auxiliary. Her hobbies included reading and decorating her home with the antiques that she had enjoyed collecting over the years.

Carol's primary focus in life was that of being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; relishing each opportunity to spend time with her family.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory her husband of sixty-one years, Sheldon "Shoney" D. Webster; sons Greg A. Webster and his wife Sue of El Cajon, California, Kevin B. Webster and his wife Gail of Cincinnati, Ohio; Brian K. Webster of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father Edgar "Ed" Campbell; mother Marian (Campbell) Arnold (nee: Bartow) and her step father James Arnold; daughter in law Donna Webster; and childhood brother Jerry Campbell.

Friends may call Tuesday March 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church; 46485 Middle Ridge Road Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church with an opportunity for viewing one hour prior to services. The Dr. Arnold Fleagle, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery, Brownhelm Township. The Hempel Funeral Home of Amherst, Ohio is privileged to serve the family of Carol Webster.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Evangelical Free Church; 46485 Middle Ridge Road, Amherst, OH 44001.
