Sherry Dianne Rogers, daughter of Lennis Wilson and Betty Jennings Wilson, was born November 20, 2012, in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life on May 5, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon to join her Heavenly Father and beloved Grandpa Slim.
On February 3,1979, Sherry was united in marriage with Michael Dean Rogers and they enjoyed the past thirty-three years together. A daily prayer time was the highlight of their day.
Sherry worked at the H.D. Lee Company and Wal-Mart in Lebanon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family. She also loved exchanging e-mails with her many friends and family and enjoyed sending e-cards of good cheer especially to her parents.
Sherry was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Billy Rogers.
She is survived by her husband Michael of the home; a daughter, Misty Butler; a brother, Dennis Wilson; a sister, Lisa Morris; and a niece, Makelle Wilson, all of Lebanon; a nephew, Brandon Wilson and his wife Sarah of Rolla, MO; an uncle, Ted Jennings and his wife Mary of Leesburg, FL; and other relatives and many friends.
Sherry was faithful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with Wayne Finley and Bob Howard officiating. Songs were "Just As I Am"-Rusty Shadel, "In The Garden;-Elvis Presley, "Amazing Grace"-Elvis Presley.
