Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Huldah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Raeford Brim, the Rev. Wayne Vuncannon and the Rev. Avery Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
He was a native of Randolph County, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and owner/operator of J&S Welding.
Surviving are wife, Dot Brim; daughters, Michelle Brigman and Debra Dixon, both of Asheboro, Janice Latham of Seagrove, Susan Kennedy of Youngsville; sons, Sammy Brim and Eugene Swaney, both of Asheboro; sisters, Sandra Marie Brim and Ima Jean Powell, both of Asheboro; brothers, Roger Brim and Tim Brim, both of Asheboro; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, 7-9 p.m. Friday.
