BOOKER, LISA CAROL - age 43, born October 20, 1968, of Tater Valley of Luttrell passed away suddenly at home after a short battle with cancer on Monday, May 7, 2012. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Maynardville, and she now sings in the heavenly choir. She taught in the Union County School System. She held a Master's Degree in Education from LMU. Her sweet presence will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survived by parents: Carroll and Zettie (Dyke) Booker; identical twin sister: Lana Booker; sisters and brothers-in-law: Cheryl and Ricky Walker and Sheila and Donel Hall; niece, Carrie Hall; and nephew and wife, Brandon and Lori Hall; and nephew, Reece Walker; great nephew, Dylan Hall; and a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Cooke's Mortuary in Maynardville. Funeral will follow after visitation at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Ken Stansberry and Rev. Philip King officiating. Music by Gary Walker. Interment in Haun's Cemetery on Tater Valley Road at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012.
