COLUMBIA - Services for Eleanor A. Allen, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2000 at Union United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Allen will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. prior to services. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel. Memorials may be made to Union United Methodist Church or Palmetto Hospice.
Mrs. Allen died Wednesday, February 2, 2000. Born in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Bertha Riley Able. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Francis Allen of Columbia; sons, Phil Allen of Clemson and Tommy Allen of Irmo; daughter Kim Todd of Lexington; sister, Grace Ward of Columbia; brother, William Able of Columbia; grandchildren, Susan Hardy, Julie Allen and Charity Todd; great-grandchild, Kendall Allen.
