Myrtle Harris funeral held Friday

Funeral services were held Friday, April 15, from Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare, for Mrs. Warren (Myrtle) Harris, 69, Kenmare, who passed away April 11th at the Kenmare Community Hospital.

Rev. Donald Burton officiated at the services and music was provided by Mrs. Joan Larson, organist and Mrs. Julie Burton, soloist.

Casketbearers were Ronald, Jack and George Harris, Terry Coons, Ellis Christianson and Scott Savelkoul.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.

She was born April 20, 1913, a daughter of Knute and Eliza Anderson in Spencer Township, Ward County, and reared there. She married Warren Harris August 1, at Plentywood, Mt., and they lived and farmed at Kenmare. They retired in 1978 and since have lived in Kenmare. She was a member of Nazareth church, the Kenmare Senior Citizens and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband daughter Mrs. Ed (Sandy) Savelkoul
Sidney, Mt.; three grandchildren; brother, Walt, Stanley; sisters, Miena Anderson and Gina Christianson, both Kenmare.
